Me neither – but Trudy brought me this winner to quilt back in February. I was so excited and just knew I was going to be having some fun. Finally it was this little quilts turn for quilting and yes I had some fun!

I just love the medallion and thanks to The Quilted Pineapple for the quilting inspiration. Linda called this Fractured Cross Hatch and I love love love it!

Inspiration for the hexagon quilting was found on Pinterest – see Geta’s Quilt Studio and Buttontree Lane .

Trudy pieced the back with some of the border stripe and a fabulous Civil War diagonal stripe print – doesn’t show the quilting very well, but still beautiful.
So whether you Hexi or not – I hope you enjoy this post!
