Quilting for Festival Vendors

As a longarm quilter I am often asked to quilt for shops and vendors that will have booths at festival.  Often the shops receive the fabric in October and want their quilts in their booths at the end of the month – the goal for quilting then is to “stick it together”.  This year however, Kelly, from “The Quilter’s Studio” just outside of Beaumont in the town of “Sour Lake”, at festival when people would walk up to her booth a very common question “Where is Sour Lake?” was able to bring me her quilts in early September so I was able to have some fun with these quilts.  Here are Kelly’s quilts and the quilting.
