A couple of weekends ago a few of us quilters got together for a “quilt camp”. We met at a very dear friends house in Pipe Creek and she and her hubby were wonderful hosts. (Although I will say the latter was scarce most of the time! Can you blame him with 6 wild and wacky quilters on the loose in his home?)
The food was wonderful – Mexican at a local restaurant, take out from Rudy’s BBQ another night, this wonderful salad and casserole. The last night was my friend Holly’s FAMOUS spaghetti, but sadly Marilynn and I had already departed and did not get to enjoy the feast. 🙁
A little bit of sewing did occur….

A little sewing accomplished, Marilynn started and finished the Christmas top, I pieced 2 University of Utah Quilts – pattern Fat Quarter Frenzy, fabric and pattern purchased at Elaine’s Quilt Block in Salt Lake City – I will be teaching there the end of July!

This Slim Flex looks like a great tool to mark even spacing for quilting. And look at all of Susie’s ribbons!
And just so you can get a feel for how peaceful and relaxing our time was there……

Sunset – we had most evenings so this was the best sunset I could capture, but the hill country sure does know how to put it all out there.
